All parents and students are welcome to tour our campus. The tours are arranged through the Admissions Office. Please do provide them with your child’s age so that a relevant tour is arranged which includes the areas that your child would frequently visit.

Applying to NIS:
- Step 1: CLICK HERE for the required documents for admission
- Step 2: Provide all required documents to get admission assessment appointment or interview. Assessment or interview fee is KD 60 (non-refundable)
- Step 3: Process with the Admissions Office for registration. Students who meet the criteria and passed the Entrance Assessment/Interview, will receive an acceptance notification via phone call, email or mobile message.
- Step 4: In order to confirm the registration, a non-refundable registration fee of KD 100 has to be paid through the admissions office 2 days after receiving the acceptance notification.
Note:
- Students with Learning Difficulties shall present all medical, psychoeducational & Public Authority papers before the admission test.
- KG Division students will be interviewed. The interview will assess the student’s social and academic abilities. Please, note that students wearing diapers will not be accepted at NIS.
Admission Assessment:
- Prospective Pre-K - KG 1 are selected based upon interview with their parents, school readiness skills, and behavioral observations conducted by a team which may consist of administrative, academic, and clinical staff. Students must be toilet trained. Duration of assessment will be within one hour in total as follows:
- a. Cognitive Skills: Manipulatives. (Students will be assessed via learning activity centers where there are manipulatives that students can use while being observed by the assessment team.)
- b. Social Interaction Skills (Outside area)
- KG 2 - Grade 2 students are selected based upon interview with their parents, school readiness skills, and behavioral observations conducted by a team which may consist of administrative, academic, and clinical staff. Students must be toilet trained. Assessment will include the following:
- a. Cognitive Skills
- b. Academic (ELA, Math, and Arabic)
- c. Social Interaction Skills
- Grade Level 3 – 12: An interview will be conducted with students and parents. New students will be assessed in English reading and writing, Arabic, and Mathematics.
